At Vehicle Shifting (“Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”), we are committed to providing safe, efficient, and reliable vehicle transportation services across India. This Shipping & Delivery Policy governs all vehicle transportation services offered by Vehicle Shifting and forms an integral part of our overall Terms & Conditions.

By booking our services, the customer (“you”, “client”) agrees to the terms stated below.


1. Pickup & Delivery Timelines

  • Pickup and delivery schedules are estimated only and not guaranteed.
  • Delays may occur due to traffic conditions, weather, road restrictions, regulatory inspections, strikes, mechanical issues, or force majeure events.
  • Vehicle Shifting shall not be held liable for such delays.
  • Delays shall not entitle the customer to cancellation, refund, or compensation.

2. Vehicle Handling & Transportation

  • Vehicles are handled by trained professionals following standard safety practices.
  • Loading and unloading are performed using shared or dedicated carriers as per the selected service.
  • Vehicle Shifting is not responsible for:
    • Pre-existing dents, scratches, or mechanical issues
    • Normal wear and tear
    • Electrical or mechanical failures during or after transit

Customers are advised to document vehicle condition before handover.


3. Shipment Updates & Communication

  • Periodic shipment updates may be provided; real-time tracking is not guaranteed.
  • Communication delays shall not be treated as service deficiency.
  • Customers must remain reachable on the contact details provided at booking.

4. Route Planning & Logistics Control

  • Routes, carriers, and transport methods are decided solely by Vehicle Shifting based on operational feasibility and safety.
  • Customers cannot demand specific routes, drivers, or carriers unless agreed in writing.

5. Transit Insurance & Risk Coverage

  • Transit risk coverage is mandatory as per quotation terms.
  • Insurance applies only during the transit period.
  • Claims are governed strictly by insurer terms.
  • Vehicle Shifting acts only as a facilitator and is not responsible for claim delays, partial settlements, or rejections.

6. Customer Responsibilities

The customer must ensure:

  • Vehicle is clean and free from personal belongings
  • Fuel level is within minimum safety limits
  • Accurate documents are provided (RC copy, ID proof, etc.)

Vehicle Shifting is not liable for loss or damage to personal items left inside the vehicle.


7. Delivery Conditions

  • Vehicle delivery is subject to full and final payment clearance.
  • Delivery may be delayed or withheld if:
    • Outstanding payments exist
    • Documentation is incomplete
    • Delivery location is inaccessible or unsafe

Any redelivery, waiting, or storage charges shall be borne by the customer.


8. Specialized Vehicles & Exceptions

  • Non-running, accidental, modified, or high-value vehicles may require special arrangements and additional charges.
  • Vehicle Shifting reserves the right to refuse transportation of any unsafe or non-compliant vehicle.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • Vehicle Shifting shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Liability, if any, is limited strictly to transit insurance coverage (if applicable).
  • No claims will be accepted after delivery if no written remarks are made at the time of delivery.

10. Force Majeure

Vehicle Shifting shall not be responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters
  • Government orders
  • Accidents
  • Strikes
  • Pandemics or emergencies

11. Policy Updates

Vehicle Shifting reserves the right to modify or update this policy at any time without prior notice. Continued use of services implies acceptance of updated terms.


12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This policy shall be governed by the laws of India. All disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of Indian courts.
